Marco DeLeon has spent more than two decades working in and alongside the public safety profession. He began his career serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Texas, including assignments as a criminal investigator and hostage negotiator. That experience continues to shape his perspective on leadership, service, and the sacrifices made by first responder families.
In his current role, Marco works closely with law enforcement leaders, state associations, regulatory bodies, and public safety organizations across the country. His work centers on helping agencies strengthen leadership, navigate complex environments, and build durable organizations that can better serve their communities. Through these partnerships, he has had the privilege of supporting thousands of agencies nationwide.
Throughout his career, Marco has remained grounded in the belief that behind every badge is a family. He is honored to support Gratitude Initiative’s mission to expand college and career opportunities for the children of those who serve, particularly within the law enforcement community.
