Internal Assurance Services Halliburton
Jill Sharp is the senior vice president of Internal Assurance Services at Halliburton. In this role, she oversees assurance services for global operations and finance. Her team is responsible for corporate, IT, HSE, and service quality audits, as well as financial controls. Previously, she served as vice president of Finance for the Western Hemisphere.
Ms. Sharp joined Halliburton in 1992 as an accountant. She progressed through a variety of accounting and finance-related roles, including country controller for Canada, global finance and accounting senior manager for Production Enhancement, and finance director for the Asia Pacific Region.
Ms. Sharp earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, and an MBA from The University of Calgary. She serves on the Educational Advisory Board for Halliburton and is an executive sponsor for two Halliburton Finance Vision teams. She graduated from the Halliburton President’s Leadership Excellence Program in 2013.
Ms. Sharp serves on the Oklahoma State University School of Accounting Advisory Board, the Texas A&M Internal Audit Program Advisory Board, and the board of directors for the Gratitude Initiative – a nonprofit organization providing educational support to children of U.S. military personnel and veterans. She was inducted into the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business Hall of Fame in 2019.
