
Treasurer,
Angela Casey is a retired business professional who has held several leadership, marketing, and technical positions during her thirty-three-year career with IBM. In retirement, Angie has continued to use her management and communications skills in voluntary capacities. She has served on her church Personnel and Finance Committee, overseeing a $3M budget, on the Advisory Board of the church’s Weekday Preschool, and most recently as the Treasurer for The Gratitude Initiative.
At IBM, she worked as a Communications Consultant for the IBM Center for Applied Insights, creating business thought leadership content focused on a broad spectrum of industries and topics from financial services to healthcare to artificial intelligence. Prior to her work in the Center for Applied Insights, Angie was a Content Strategist, writing and developing thought leadership materials primarily for the IBM Institute for Business Value – a business consulting think tank. During her tenure with the Institute, she collaborated with senior executives to write and produce several IBM C-Level Study reports, including multiple CEO, CFO, and Chief Human Resource Officer studies. Before joining the marketing ranks, Angie held a number of software design, systems integration, and project management roles within IBM Global Business Services.
Angie graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and lives in Coppell, Texas, with her husband of forty years – Kevin. They are the parents of two adult daughters and doting grandparents to their four grandchildren. Angie is also the proud daughter of a World War II Army veteran.
