Jefferson Hammann

Jefferson Hammann is Vice President, Enterprise Transportation and Logistics, with The Pasha Group, a San Rafael, California-based maritime trade company with major operations supporting Hawaii, as well as multiple business units, including international operations and military household goods. He is a seasoned, senior level supply chain executive, former active-Army Logistics Officer now Reservist, and college adjunct professor. Jefferson has worked in senior levels throughout all areas of supply chain for more than 25 years, from government through various corporate sectors. Prior to Pasha, he led H-E-B Grocery Company’s Houston-based Fleet and transportation operations, following an international stint in Seoul, Korea with Coupang LLC, that nation’s e-commerce leader.

Jefferson started both his leadership and supply chain career as an U.S. Army Officer, where he received his commission as a Second Lieutenant, Ordnance Corps, through ROTC. While on active-duty, Jefferson served and led soldiers throughout multiple assignments in Korea and Kansas before transitioning to corporate supply chain, where he accepted an opportunity with Walmart Transportation, quickly leading to a General Manager role in California, directing a major terminal supporting store and vendor centralized operations throughout the southwestern region. As a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves, he was called to active-duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) 2010-2011, where he conducted logistics operations across multiple countries, including work with the Department of State in U.S. Embassy operations.

​Jefferson has also taught business classes at Porterville College and Cal State San Bernardino; he has served there, and at UC-Riverside, on business advisory boards, and currently is a member of the Dallas College Supply Chain Advisory Board. Jefferson received his B.A. in East Asian Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, with a minor in Religious Studies, having further studied the Korean language at Yonsei University in Seoul. He completed his MBA at Florida State University.

​With a son serving as an officer in the U.S. Army, and daughters in colleges in Arizona, Jefferson and his wife currently reside in the greater Dallas Area. In his leisure time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as water events and hiking; he also enjoys reading and writing.
